Is World War Two a Great War?
World War Two can be labeled 'great' in many different aspects of the term. For example it can be considered 'great' as in it was a great and horrible catastrophe of many deaths and destruction. Or simply that it spread so far, and how long it lasted. It can also be thought of as 'great' for the simple reason that so many cultures and countries were involved, counties who you would never suspect became allies- and were intertwined with the sharing of pain and loss of this great war. As showed in the Alliances tab of this website, you can see that not only the big four of the war are included, but the United states even formed allies with the people of Africa, Australia, even Brazil! This war was to truly 'great' and a 'World' war- for the depths of this battle against injustice and confrontation.
Next if you observe the causes of the second world war, you will see the explosive capacity of how it began, from one end of the world to the next. From the Treaty of Versailles, to Japanese expansionism, to the rie of Adolf Hitler, and ultimately the United States involvement - due to formed alliances, keeping their owned rights, and protecting the worlds freedom.
